How Consistency Relates To Success

Today we’re gonna talk about consistency and how it relates to success.

I can talk all day about this area of personal development.

It’s played a role in at least 70% of all the accolades I’ve ever accrued throughout my life up until this point.

We’re gonna deep dive into this a little further if you stick with me here. Let’s do it!

How Does Consistency Relate To Success?

Consistency relates to success because it’s one of the most important factors when achieving it long-term. You can find people that are consistent and not successful but it doesn’t work the other way.

My 4 Factors of Long-Term Success

  1. Consistency
  2. Discipline
  3. Focus
  4. Saving habit

These are 4 factors of long-term success that affects me personally.

I’ve had some of my best moments in life because of them.

Consistency

Being consistent is one of the most importantly slept on qualities that I didn’t realize was important until later in life.

It started sticking out to me as something that was needed for success when I started taking the sports I enjoyed competing in seriously.

If there’s anything that you remember most about being consistent, allow it to be this: consistency makes up for someone who truly desires to achieve in one area over another that starts off naturally gifted.

Discipline

Being discipline is a quality I was getting recognized for once I got involved with wrestling— missing out on making the basketball team was one of the best things to ever happen for me.

This isn’t about a specific sport because I don’t think lessons in this area is exclusive to athletics, but I’m gonna feel I’m doing you all a disservice if I don’t at least share my true authentic appreciation for this quality given to me thanks to my willingness to give it a try.

Discipline shows in the person that’s willing to make sacrifices in order to achieve a goal that they’re destined for later on down the road.

Focus

We’re told to constantly focus on whatever we have to do, but have you ever asked yourself what’s the point of it?

I’ve grown to appreciate it so much because I got a chance to understand it as being the luxury it truly is.

You’re not able to put your full potential and attention to your mission without doing this.

It’s very telling of what you’re actually passionate about when you actually choose to focus on the work you’re doing.

When you’re able to focus, your quality and effectiveness is amplified to astronomical levels.

Saving Habit

A habit with saving always contributes to long term success, because it aligns with a few other universal pieces of advice we’re given early on in life.

One of the most memorable for me is to not put all of your eggs in one basket.

That actually relates to this message because there’s always going to be a reserve when you think about it.

Final Thoughts

Here’s my 4 contributors to long term success in relation to consistency.

First is being consistent obviously, second is discipline, and third is having focus. Last is the savings habit.

They’re not definitive on an official level, at least not yet, but I have had results that I can speak to personally.

They contribute to my success with making music and rapping, so I felt that it was important we discuss this.
