Today we’ll be discussing websites.
Where do you see websites fitting into the broader picture six months from now?
I see websites being part of a broader picture (especially six months from now) in where they become an extension of rap. It’s going to compliment the nerds of appreciated visual content, specifically video. Applying it to AI era, there’s gonna be a divide at some point of people that won’t fully accept its potential, but they’ll still remain comfortable with browsing a traditional website. That’s where having one will capture that percent of the market that’ll be dependent on your presence. And ultimately, it’ll compliment everyone that aggressively advertises merchandise.
Extension of Rap
Websites will still be an extension rap because it’ll support the avid communicator. It’s going to back up anything that’s said offline. If I’m communicating ideas and topics that I myself is passionate about with another person, there’s not a guarantee that I’ll communicate every facet of what I’m talking about all in one conversation. You take into account that a good majority of conversations seem to always fall short of getting the entire point across. Sometimes people are on a time restraint that won’t allow them to fully get into their most important points.
Enhancements For Visual Content
Websites will still be relevant because they’re gonna support our current culture of visual based content. Let’s face it: most of the content consumed on the internet and looked after is turning visual. Specifically in video format. It’s most enjoyed and makes things easier to consume. The thing is: it’s not everything! There’s details that people who are passionate about what topic’s being discussed will discover that it’ll be able to get expressed in even greater detail through a website. Most people will assume that you can safely and efficiently share all information that you wanna share on a social platform, and yes, there’s platforms that’ll allow you to host tons of content, but it’s still not enough. As macro some of the platforms may appear, I’m finding it’s still micro in reality. You’re really playing the macro game when you prioritize the website over everything else.
A Harbor For The Dinosaurs of The Digital
Websites are also going to a space for the traditional internet user because they’ll still exist. There’s going to be a relevant amount of people that’ll be resistant of things that make websites feel questionable such as AI and ChatGPT. Because of that they’re going to be committed to specifically focus their efforts of satisfying their internet cravings through a website. I didn’t even mention the people that’ll intentionally avoid social media as well, but let’s continue. Let’s say the numbers of people that use the internet for the sole reason of purchasing merchandise is 1 billion. Yes, I’m lowballing that number outrageously low, but say only 5% of that amount falls under the category we’ve been discussing. Are you keeping up with me here? That’s a worthy campaign for anybody that would commit to making the internet work for them.
The Closer For Your Merchandise Selection
Websites will continue to be relevant in the future because it’ll be one of the most effective closers for entities and brands that have merchandise for sale. If you’re like me in where most clothing campaigns that I tried starting only went as far as the printed product that I would have made for myself. Maybe a few other people, but it didn’t go that far. If I had a website that was able to advertise those same products I made, I would be making money from it to this day, I’m sure of it. It actually ties in with the earlier messages.
