Today we’re gonna talk about what makes American products so expensive. This will include the following: Range in Labor, the Difficulty in Matching Quality, and High Potentials in Marketability
Demand in Range of Labor with Production
The first explanation for why American products are so expensive is the point that we’re in a capitalistic civilization that allows us to become independent at a point that’s absolutely ridiculous. You look at businesses that call for charging customers for the cost of labor. It can be manipulated to a point that’s absolutely considered expensive. We’re typically allowed to justify and reasonably demand a specific price for the products and services that’s offered.
Difficulty in Quality Matching
Next is the difficulty to match the quality of a domestically made American product. Look past the potential of calling me out for having region bias cans hear me out. We as a country do a good deal of importing goods, but that’s limited in only a few areas at best. American products are usually given the reputation for durability. You look at Ford for example roughly. There’s others too, but generally speaking the top performing American Made products usually lead charts in comparison to other competitors.
High Potential in Marketability
Having high potential pays off really well when you consider the short and term benefits for business. A popular strategy that’s done with some of the biggest businesses that were started in America were to build them up simply to be resold again. This actually ties in with that point about labor. There’s people that would much rather just buy a business that’s already proven to get results. They typically are the ones that also are marketable.
