Training Courses

Training courses are one of the few ways I’ve made my money throughout my lifetime up to this point.

I’m considered an advanced level prospect in my sport, so I’m in a position to teach anyone below that.

Monetizing that knowledge is an option for anybody that’s put in time understanding their sport.

That includes breaking down fundamentals and emphasizing what’s needed in order to perform at a high level.

I would have everything from readings to videos that I’d encourage my students to follow as part of the training.

It was value that I’d feel comfortable with advertising in expectation of making money.

That’s a highly important thing that I’m positive was what allowed me to confidently market my services to members of the community that genuinely cared about the sport.

Selling Merchandise

Selling merchandise was yet another method of mine that I used to make money.

This is specific in its own category for me because I’m speaking to a brand identity that I created from scratch.

I started off with a logo for a sports brand I developed in efforts to monetize my own business that went public.

People underestimate the opportunities that come with having an original logo that serves as a professional ID.

It took more than just having the design made though. I had to decide on what products I wanted for my image.

I opted for going with something as simple as T-Shirts.

It worked in conjunction with an event I was hosting and extended my ability to earn.

Clinician

Clinicians are people of service that typically can teach a group of people a certain lesson best.

They’re able to put special focus on the people who attend their workshops.

The clinician makes themself readily available for mostly any question that their audience has for them.

I personally haven’t seen anyone run a camp for longer than a month, but the ones I did lasted about a week.

They translate great with sports if you’re someone that competes at a high level, and does well with freelanced work too.

Depending on if you’re hosting your own event or being hosted typically determines when you get paid.

I’ve gotten experience in getting paid both of those ways.

Direct Sales

I’ve made commission money from Direct Sales as well. This is another way that I’m fortunate to say I’ve gotten the experience from.

There was a company back from a little while ago that had an awesome product. It was something that didn’t require anybody to have to sell anything to get, or be apart of. However, it did have the choice to share their product with others, and everybody who decided to buy that product you bought already would get you a commission that would range, depending on the value of the product you would get sold.

I’ve mentioned this as being separate from our merchandise mention because the direct sales in many cases earn you exactly what was said, a commission. That means you only get a percentage of the sales. There’s technicalities that we could introduce, but to put it as simple as possible, that’s my main difference.

Reaching the Age of Obtaining a Credit Card

This is more of a controversial point that I’m willing to share in how I am literally speaking to a concept that I’m still learning.

I just recently decided to apply and got approved for my first ever credit card at a $300 limit with a $75 cash advance.

Allow me to first say: this is not financial advice in any shape or form. Just my experience.

I’m able to have actual cash in my hand because of this credit card I got approved for.

It’s allowed me to eat, pay for some entertainment, etcetera.

My spending habits up to this point that included getting approved was fair.

That’s not amazing or anything, but it’s clutch!

Fair by my terms is paying a majority of my fees and bills that deal with financing companies.

I truly believe this reveals itself as being responsible early becomes a benefit in where you’re in more favor later.

From here, it’s up to me to have that money earn me more than what my line provided.

It’s pretty exciting.
